Infamous Ian - The Book of Ian
On the thirteenth day, of the twelfth month in the two-thousand and third year, I approached the base of snow covered Mount of SoV. I could see the vast kingdom that SoV was, and in my determination to join this vast kingdom, I worked my way up the frozen mountain side. During my ascend, I noticed many warriors, and beheld beings in which I've never seen in my existense.
As I approached the gates to the kingdom, I was stopped by several knights, who wished to know my purpose for my journey. I relayed to them my desires, and they conversed among themselves for a short while before they turned to me and motioned me to come inside to their courtyard. Upon entering, I was immediately overrun with many gruling tests from the inhabitants therein. Over a month's duration, beaten, and worn from the trails, I was then able to become a renouned Knight of SoV by the grace of the God of SoV.
I fought many battles as a Knight, and fought them proudly. My passion for the battles were overwhelming, which gave me the power to mow down my enemies. A time came in which the inhabitants of this great kingdom, was starting to drift away from the Mount. The numbers were decreasing daily, many people were losing faith in the Gods of SoV, even to the point to which the Demi and Semi-Gods were losing faith, and drifting away. Before my very eyes I noticed this once great kingdom, the kingdom I worked so hard to protect and uphold, fall apart before my very eyes. Now, there was a few of us who stilled believed, but it seemed that the Gods did not hear us when we beckoned for their assistance...
In my anger, and frustration, I called to Gods of SoV, with all of my might, mind, and strength. I called out for them to show themselves before me and speak their words with me. Within the moment, my amazement soared, as I saw him. F'Nok; the Kai-God, the creator of all SoV, ascend before my very eyes. In that instant, I was standing face to face with F'Nok. I felt my knees start to quake a little, but I stood my ground as I confronted him.
"Your cries have not been in vain, Infamous one," he said in a commanding tone. "I have noticed the loss of faith, it is an unfortunate, but now is the time Infamous one. I have chosen you, Ian, to become the God of SoV."
"Why F'Nok, why such a knight as myself," I asked in utter amazement.
"It is because of your faith, and determination. In your short time, you have proven many things, being an unknown warrior from the past, and fighting so valiantly for the beliefs of SoV. I believe that it will be you that shall restore glory to SoV, and stir it's enemies up in rememberance of the true ruler of the realm."
F'Nok then held out his mighty axe towards myself, and I felt a presence shake me to the very core. I fell to my knees feeling the awesome and magnificant power coursing through my soul.
"Arise!" he commanded. I stood up as commanded and face him once again. I now felt it. The immense power that one can only dream of; the true evil power of the Sword of Villanousity.
"Heed my words Ian. You must restore this once great kingdom from it's ruined state. You now have the power to do so. Just by your presence, people will flock to join forces with SoV and together, crush everything in your path. I look foward to the day that everyone knows the name Infamous Ian."
With those words, F'Nok disappeared before my very eyes, ascending to the highest kingdom in which the Gods did reside. I did then turned to gaze upon the kingdom. At first, I admit, it did appear to be overwhelming, but I remembered the words which F'Nok spoke unto me, and I did begin my work.
I drew out a plan, and gained the opinions and support of those remaining in the guild. My first plan; to recruit. Because of the scarceness in Knights and higher ranking officers, I directly worked with the knights and officers to recruit and train. And indeed the words of F'Nok did come true that people would come to join forces with SoV, that is, I believe, only if a strong minded omni-present being was leading and encouraging them. In a short amount of time, our numbers were great again, and I was ever greatful to everyone for their support.
The next phase that I had was to visit with an old friend of SoV. So I did fortify our newly rebuilt kingdom with the help of our faithful new soliders, and departed for the land in which the Lords of Destruction has inhabited. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with rejoice, for SoV and LoD has been out of contact for a very long period of time. I did tarry with LoD for a time, discussing my goals with thier leader, Soromon. We evaluated many things for my duration in their presence, and I then departed back to the Mount.
I returned with the good news of our renewed communication with our closest ally. With these glad tidings, our warriors were anxious for blood, so we made preparations for war. A calculated target had to be made, for it had been months since an actual battle was fought. A recommendation came forth, and it turned out to be an old enemy of SoV and LoD, called Blade. It was the perfect time to strike because the powers of leadership had just shifted in that kingdom. I went hastily to Soromon for his council on the matter and he concurred. It was then settled. SoV and LoD would join forces once again against Blade.
I then returned to declare it unto everyone, but somehow, the enemy caught wind of my plans and attacked our kingdom preemptively. Although they attacked our kingdom, our knights in all their might, fended them off from entering into the walls. Gazing upon their valor, I then turned to retrieve LoD to help commense in the present battle, in order to box them in, but alas, as I turned, I saw them, in their glory, ascending to the battlefield. My heart then filled with courage, and I raced to help my comrads. In our fury, we decorated the battlefield with their corpses, until they were all slain. At that moment, both SoV and LoD rejoiced in the destruction of their long time enemy.
At the end of the battle, I went to retire; but was stopped by two presences. It was both Kain and F'Nok himself. They both clasped my shoulders with one hand each and congratulated this great victory over their long time foe.
"You have done well Ian," F'Nok said. "You have done everything that I have said, all because you built upon the faith I had in you to be a great leader."
"It is but one victory though," I added.
"That is true, but SoV is now built on a stronger foundation than it's ever been," replied Kain. "You have done everything that was needed to be accomplished."
"What now," I asked?
"Your time has passed..and we will choose a successor as the God of SoV. You will be rewarded greatly for your efforts, which is the ascention into the highest glory of SoV..and it is our prayers that everyone will remember your determination and willpower to keep this kingdom alive in Evergreen.." With that I collapsed to the ground in a deep slumber. It was so deep of a slumber, that I do not recall the period of time that I had been slumbering, but upon awaking, I noticed, that I was in the presence of F'Nok and Kain again.
I gazed upon them in a confused manner and they said to me,
"Welcome Infamous Ian, to your reward; Kai-Godliness."
