Prophet Rising - The Book of Zao

Chapter 1: The story

In the beginning there was nothing.
A simple message. February, 2005.

Contact.

March 23, 2005.
"....I shall endorse your
claim to godhood to revive SoV.... -F'nok"

Several come back from within the ashes. Minkor... Smokie... Tifa....

Old friends. New enemies. New friendships are formed and a fellowship emerges. This is what was meant to be.

But the same problems remain. Disloyalty. Anger. Hatred. Fear. Fear of failure.

A rift slowly tears at the fabric of all that which we hold dear. =IM= forms and with it several SoViets are fooled by its calligraphy and gimmicks. But time will tell. Time always tells the story of SoV. And soon afterwards =IM= falls back into the shadows never to be heard from again.

A betrayal by one of the Kais throws all into disarray for a short time but stability once again emerges and SoV breaks through stronger than ever. He is shunned. Ashamed and broken he fleas.

Watchful eyes peak from a distance and view the fellowship from afar. 'I wish they called me brother once more.'

A humble plea for acceptance falls not on deaf ears. Once again I am a part of the ever growing clockwork that is SoV.

We always hurt the things that we seems to be the most fond of. That is part of being human. But SoV is more than being human, it is an idea and ideas can never die.

Chapter 4: The poetry

"Breath of the dead muse"

The lesser lights of heaven, their bodies but a flame, a sky that knows no distance, a cut that feels no pain.

(Inspiration from your damnation)

Ripped and torn from inside out. Things too dark to think about.
I've met the end of being, my eyes are open wide.
I feel myself depleting, and watch my body die.

(Life is a path, Death a destination.)

Wake up screaming, I'm awake and dreaming,
And I won't stop breathing until my heart stops beating.

(A prayer to my Gods)

'I will stand and fight to justify you.
You have bled and died to justify me.'

(Life is a path, Death a destination.)

The scars outlive the pain.
Reflections will remain.
The scars outlive the pain.
Your sickness will remain.
I will wait for you, pray for you.
Before I make my final run.
I will stay with you, decay with you.

(Inspiration from your damnation)

This is the day we have awaited, sponsored, and celebrated, he has answered our prayers.

"Resistance"

I won't allow it. I won't let it happen. This weakness will be strengthened. Take away this battle. Let our fire burn within.

Purify.
Purify.

Don't release your hand from me. I must surrender, must lay it down. What's to gain in my selfishness? What will I promote, and what will be pushed back? My hope must rise, strength come forward. Linking my hand in yours. Let your chains uphold me. I won't break the bond. No more will I remain the same. My God is all powerful. I am convinced. I must stay.

--

"Endure"

I will endure. It will endure in me. Until the end, forever.

If we continue in these ways, rebellion bends towards hatred. We rise up for our cause, and forsake the outsiders. Who will stand? What will break down if this up rise of self is left to reign? This age screams for a standard to uphold, and an answer for the questions. The wavering of beliefs lead to destruction. Nothing remains constant to its origin but the unchanging faith of SoV. The one stable since creation. Thoughts have come, and theories have gone. Nothing has lasted through resistance. But who can deny, who can dispute the faith that's been throughout since the foundation of the beginning? It has always been and always will be.
(Forever)
It has been proven. It shall remain. This faith has stood the test. It persists through the conflict. Through the revolt against its ways, nothing has held true like this. No other has revealed such strength. The roots run deep within. Entangling around my rock. Never letting go of this truth. The power that has sustained me. I will endure in what I believe and what I believe will endure in me...

Never again will I separate myself.

Chapter 5: The promise

Once again I come to the place where.................
